What is the difference between SEO and CRO in terms of improving your website?
Search engine optimization (SEO) drives more traffic to your website. Conversion rate optimization (CRO) converts new visitors to consumers. There is also a difference between optimizing content for search engine and optimizing the content for conversion rate. SEO is focused on strategies to rank better in search engine results such as link building, internal linking, keyword placement, website structure and so on. CRO is focused on strategies to optimize your conversion rates, including qualitative and quantitative research, competitive analysis, testing of on-site elements, post-test analysis and so on.

SEO works more with optimizing content for the search engine. CRO works more with optimizing content for user’s experience on your website. SEO and CRO can work together to improve your website content. For example, you need to focus on how to make your site easy to be found as well as how to make your content valuable to the users and address what they need. One last thing that you should keep in mind is that your page- lauding time should not take so long because not everyone is willing to Waite for a page to be uploaded. That will decrease your conversions rate instead of increasing it. Read more about SEO and CRO here.
